 The Groton Hotel is a well-known landmark located on Main Street in Groton, New York. Since the mid-19th century, it has served generations of residents, travelers, and visitors. What began as a modest one-story tavern in 1818 became a grand three-story hotel in 1853. For more than 170 years, this building has been an integral part of our community.

Today, owner Christine Clare Brennan has given the hotel new life, restoring the building's historic structure and feel. Family owned and operated, it continues its legacy as more than just a place to stay, remaining a symbol of community, resilience, and the enduring history of Groton itself.
